RFTS consists of three parts: Race for the Stars Field Day & Fun Run, donation baskets and Closing Ceremonies.

Race for the Stars Field Day & Fun Run has lots of traditional field day games as well as our fun run race!  Participants raise money by asking family and friends to sponsor them per lap.  We also sell spirit signs for your runner to see on race day!

The second part is our fabulous donation baskets.  Lakewood families and local businesses donate tons of prizes for gift baskets put together by our RFTS committee.  In the weeks leading up to Closing Ceremonies, students, teachers and parents are encouraged to purchase tickets for a chance to win!

Lastly, Lakewood families come together for Closing Ceremonies on the school grounds.  Not only will top runners be awarded medals from the Fun Run, but there will also be inflatables, food, games, and LOTS of prizes!
